History
In June of 1992, Paul Jones of Oxford Nova Scotia and Yvan Bernard of Bedford, Quebec purchased a vacant welding shop in the Amherst Industrial Park. This was, and still is, the home of LBJ Farm Equipment, an Atlantic Canadian Division of J.O. Lévesque Ltd. (Bedford, Quebec.)
In 2006, Claude Lévesque and Paul Jones purchased LBJ Farm Equipment.
March of 2009, LBJ expanded with the purchase of ACA Coop Farm Supply located in New Minas, Nova Scotia. Having a second location in the heart of the N.S. chicken industry has been vital to our success.
November of 2009, LBJ was appointed the Lely Center for Atlantic Canada. By fall of 2012, 15 milking robots have been installed with the potential of more.
June 2012, LBJ turned 20 and with continued support from our customers, suppliers and valued employees the future looks very bright.
